                          My favourite singer is Mr.W.D. Amaradewa. He is considered as the best vocalist and the best singer in Sri Lanka. As a subject I follow classical music; therefore I like his songs. Specially classical songs. He was promoted by offering ''Pndith'' as a honour in the musical world. Though he is a prominent singer in the musical world he is very simple and humble person. I like his songs as well as his simple life style. Among his songs I like ''Sannaliyane''. It tells us to think about the important events in the human life. It describes from birth to death of a person. While listening to this song I feel that I am involving to the meditation.😇

          When I listening and watching his songs; his facial expressions say us the meaning of the song. I also like the song ''Hanthana Sihine''. He sang it with Umaria Sinhawansha. He has sung songs not only with his contemporaries but he song with younger artists like; Umaria Sinhawansha, Niranjala Sarojani. Therefore I admire his this quality. It is the another reason for my choice about him
